hoopslogomainHoops for Hope was conceptualized and initiated when parents of two-year old Dominic Nechvatal, who was born with CF, wanted to make a big difference in the lives of all families affected by the inherited, fatal disease.

Going into their second season for the event, Hoops for Hope approached us for sponsorship thru the development of a website.  We jumped at the opportunity!  Having the opportunity to help out with a worthy cause and a local family means a lot to our team.

The new Hoops for Hope website will serve as a central hub from which to help organize the annual event, generate sponsorship funding and donations.

We have also teamed up with the event administration to assist with ongoing site development and maintenance, helping to ensure they have the best tools at their disposal moving forward.

moodysbiglogoIf you are in the agriculture or construction industries, odds are you have heard of Moody's Equipment.

As one of Western Canada's premier dealers for New Holland equipment, its hard not to notice them. The flashy machinery is hard to miss when you cruise past one of their dealerships, and as such, their website should be just as eye catching.

Armed with a mission, "To provide the best value in farm and construction equipment, parts and service", Moody's needed a new website to help them achieve that goal in an increasingly digital marketplace. The new site needed to not only be functional as a showcase for new products and services, it also needed to work as a full service marketplace for used equipment.

Staying true to our local community, we had a great time building a killer site for a locally prominent business like Moody's.

colourlabWhen it comes to colour and how to make it work in the real world, Colour Labs knows their stuff.

Specializing in large format "true to colour" printing, these guys can make anything look amazing in two dimensions -- everything from posters to art re-prints to wallpaper. Being a fellow design company, we could truly understand their business direction, attention to detail and need for adequate online representation.

Being colour specialists, Colour Labs needed a website that was visually inspiring, while at the same time being functionally simple and easy to navigate. As such, they came to us to get the job done in style!

We have to admit, it was a lot of fun building a site for Colour lab as they gave us an incredible level of creative control and freedom - time to unleash the demolition team!

Some of us folks at DangerDynamite! are a bit scrappy but when we spend all day slaving over a LED screen can you blame us?  As such, Scheer’s Martial Arts is the place to go to learn to direct that inner warrior and blow off a little pent up energy while we were at it.

Estabilished in 1967, Scheer’s is not only one of the longest running martial arts schools in canada, they have also become a leader in their industry. With a foundation built on the highest levels of instruction and constant pursuit of excellence -- it goes without saying that in this digital age, their website needed to reflect that creed.

We were honored to be given the opportunity to help them achieve their goal.  We aimed to build Scheer's a website which was both visually in tune with the image Scheer's had built for themselves and informative for both existing students and potential recruits.

bridgecityWell, given that we spend almost as much time shopping for techie hardware as we spend shopping for groceries, it stands to reason that we would end up building a website for the local shop where we spend our hardware budget.

BridgeCity is a relatively new shop with staff that have been serving the local tech community for over a decade. These guys know their stuff and they are eager to dispense their knowledge when they can. They have the best service around hands down and unreal prices. Anyone dropping dollars at the big box stores should check these guys out. You would be amazed at the price and service difference.

As a new business exposure is everything and having a good website -- especially for a tech business -- is an absolute must. Well, as we spend a pile of time at the shop anyway, we figured we would step up and get a killer site out the door for these guys.

gopaintThese guys take paintball seriously.  For years Roger and his crew have successfully run top end paintball facilities, retail stores and professional paintball teams in Canada.

Roger decided he wanted to build a new brand and bring all of his experience into one focused package and "GoPaintball" was born.  As such, when Roger decided to go online with the new brand for retail sales and build an empire we helped him go all out.

"GoPaintball" have brought several major pro teams in for sponsorship, began huge marketing campaigns and stock the very best gear the paintball industry has to offer.  A well built and well planned website would be the key component of their plans.  This website developed for "GoPaintball" is a well balanced integration of ecommerce and content, supporting both the "GoPaintball" online store as well as mini sites for their sponsored teams.

optikalogobigIf you are going to have to wear glasses you might as well do it with the utmost of style right?

We think so, and the folks at Optika Eclectic Eyeware do too. The shop is exactly what you would expect to find on Saskatoon's funky Broadway scene.

Optika was established in 1993 to meet the growing demand for high quality funky and functional eyewear in Saskatoon. Catering to the ever expanding group of Optika customers who are looking to stand apart from the crowd, whether subtly or by having glasses that scream for attention, having adequate online representation was fast becoming a major requirement for Optika.

Given that we love to work with our groovy local businesses, as always, we at Danger Dynamite! were happy to oblige.

earthwingThey have a few slogans in use at Earthwing Skateboards in Brooklyn, New York, and one of them is “You deserve more”. Well, we thought this time maybe it's time someone said that to them, so we did.

Earthwing is a killer skateboard company, building some of the fastest, well built longboards in the business and at the same time maintaining an apparent lockdown on the slide skating scene. Through years of hard work and explicit attention paid to both the detail that goes into their products and the riders who use them, Earthwing has built a loyal following of riders and a reputation amongst their competition as an innovative brand. Their designs in both longboard skate decks and wheels have heavily influenced some of the best known brands in the industry and resulted in one of the most in demand but hard to get brands out there. Rolling out only a handful of products in each production run, their product is swarmed upon by riders and skate shops alike. Needless to say, we were insanely stoked to have the opportunity to work with this company.
